Job Description:
Cantor Fitzgerald invites you to be part of our growing Internal
Control team in San Diego, CA. As an Internal Control Analyst,
youll play a vital role in managing post-execution trade activities
and critical control processes. This role is ideal for a
detail-oriented professional who enjoys a collaborative, fast-paced
environment. Youll work closely with various teams to ensure the
integrity of post-trade processes and contribute to a globally
active financial services firm. Responsibilities Maintain and
validate security master and reference data for accurate trade
processing. Reconcile external reports with internal back-office
systems, including broker statements and exchange data. Review and
investigate reconciliation breaks, ensuring timely resolution.
Perform daily reviews of management reports and exchange data,
developing and maintaining performance benchmarks. Track trade
settlements and coordinate with counterparties for settlement
discrepancies. Support possession and control processes to meet
regulatory requirements. Evaluate the impact of regulatory changes
on existing controls and processes. Assist in managing internal and
external audit requests and documentation. Collaborate with front,
middle, and back office teams for effective trade-related issue
resolution. Qualifications Bachelors degree required, preferably in
Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Strong
proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention
to detail. Self-directed, energetic, and intellectually curious,
with a proactive approach. Strong verbal and written communication
skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage multiple
priorities and projects simultaneously. Experience in a financial
services or trading environment is preferred. Knowledge of
regulatory requirements and industry practices is an asset. A
collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and
technologies.
