A company is looking for a News Editor to oversee its online
magazine's coverage of sci-fi/fantasy and genre entertainment
news.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and determine editorial direction of news content
Organize and delegate assignments to freelance news writers
Edit articles and track audience response to refine coverage
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in entertainment news
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Detailed knowledge of sci-fi/fantasy literature and visual
media
Experience with editorial calendars and managing submissions
Working knowledge of image usage rights and libel laws
