working in Poway, CA. location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform Component related Engineering activities on Unmanned
Aircraft Systems (UAS).
Candidate will focus on supporting Engineering, Production and
Procurement in various capacities. As part of the Component
Engineering team roles include: Provide support with component /
supplier selection, analysis and documentation to meet technical
requirements posed by design teams during concept and development
for both Electrical and Mechanical parts.
Create and maintain part specifications and assist in maintaining
Interface with production to identify and resolve device level,
high defect rate issues.
Support procurement to resolve part shortage and obsolescence
issues by identifying alternates and qualifying form, fit, function
Research market / technology trends of suppliers and devices.
Support BOM reviews for part lifecycle risk management as

Job Qualifications: Typically requires a bachelor's degree,
master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical
discipline from an accredited institution and progressive
engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience
with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a

Word, Access and PowerPoint programs as well as Adobe Acrobat
Familiar with MRP / PLM systems used in the industry (SAP,
