is TRUST. As a Metrology Technician III, you will support the
manufacturing process through calibration of test and measurement
of equipment, to include RF measurement, DC to AC voltage measuring
test equipment; perform work of moderate complexity within defined
policies and procedures. Major Duties & Responsibilities Calibrate
inspection, measurement and test equipment in the following
disciplines - electrical, dimensional, optical, physical/mechanical
in order to ensure compliance with published specifications.
Maintain primary and/or intrinsic calibration standards; maintain
secondary and/or working calibration standards. Identify and
correct measurement errors, as applicable; prepare calibration
reports and certificates. Recommend standards for use in
calibration applications. Adapt existing calibration equipment,
standards and techniques to accomplish unique measurement tasks for
which they are not principally used. Develop, document and maintain
calibration systems and procedures, based on principles of
measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems and
accuracy and precision requirements. Develop, implement and
maintain the calibration laboratory's quality systems per published
standards and guidelines. Performs complex work, using judgment
within defined and established policies, procedures and standards
while maintaining the spirit of excellence. Improve and maintain 5S
in your area, make suggestions for improvements. Participate in
Lean/Six Sigma activities in own work area as well as events for
other areas to enhance cross-functional problem solving. Performs

Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Two years' experience in electronic
testing and/or measurement calibration, equipment repair. This
position requires access to technology, materials, software or
hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be
eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US
export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government
export license). Ability to obtain and maintain a security
clearance due to handling of classified information. WE VALUE Four
years' experience in electronic testing and/or measurement
calibration, equipment repair. Holding an active security
clearance. Highschool Diploma or GED Associate's degree in
electronic technology or bachelor's degree. Detail-oriented with
good manual and eye dexterity (precise) with ability to discern
color. Technical skills: ability to set up test equipment as
defined by a documented test procedure. Communication skills :
ability to interpret and comprehend complex technical written and
verbal instructions. Math skills: ability to add, subtract,
multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions and decimals; basic Ohm's law, power and reactance
formulas. Computer skills: exposure to modern computers and
information systems. Time Management & Organizational skills:
flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and
assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellence

$64,200 - $80,300 (San Diego, CA). Applicable pay within the posted
range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to,
geographical location, job function of the position, education, and
