Job Description Job Description Maintenance Mechanic (3am-3:30pm) Maintenance Mechanic Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety. This position plays a critical role in preventing equipment breakdowns and maintaining operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner Inspect equipment for proper functioning and safety compliance Assist in hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance Perform electrical system troubleshooting and repairs Conduct HVAC maintenance and repairs as needed Engage in welding and fabrication tasks for equipment modifications Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe working environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting HVAC certification is a plus Welding and fabrication experience desired Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety compliance and best practices Benefits Competitive pay $32-37/hour DOE Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage Generous Paid Time Off 401(k) with Company Match Flexible schedules Professional Development & Tuition Reimbursement - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
