Position OverviewThe Branch Manager is the person in charge of the overall operation of the retail location. The role serves as a leader to his or her team of associates and the one in charge of a particular branch office. The branch manager ensures that the business grows, provides great customer satisfaction, and is committed to the business's success.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including compliance, retail sales, warehousing, and distribution works directly with the Branch Operation and Regional General Manager
• Maintains customer and employee contact in the work area to ensure that quality service is being applied.
• Directs the activities in the branch to meet or exceed sales and margin targets.
• Directs staff to perform their job duties in compliance with safety standards
• Proactively recognizes and provides training and development as needed
• Handles the cases of some customer complaints escalated to the supervisors.
• Conducts daily sales and operation assessments and monitors every transaction made in the business.
• Involved in establishing and updating processes and procedures to ensure staff performs job duties in compliance with Safety, SOX, and other applicable government regulations
• Oversees the process of setting inventory level targets to meet customer and sales expectations. Ensures sure that the price of the product or services offered by the branch business is accurate
• Plans for future needs and monitors production/workforce levels to ensure continued efficiency
• Determines and develops the annual budget for the daily expenses of the business branch.
• Coordinates and Completes timely and accurate branch reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis by a branch reporting scheduleQualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years (s) of retail sales experience required
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in CU/TIMS or another similar customer database preferredSupervisory ResponsibilityDirectly supervises the Inside Sales Associate team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone, keyboard reach, stoop and kneel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
