Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their
Revenue Cycle Management team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure daily tasks align with company goals for cash collections
and accounts receivable
Manage the Ready to Bill queue and perform Quality Assurance for
claims and invoices
Review delivery tickets for accuracy and submit secondary billing
with appropriate documentation
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college
preferred
3 to 4 years of experience in medical billing with knowledge of
managed care and reimbursement
Experience auditing documentation for compliance with payer
requirements
Working knowledge of automated billing systems, with CPR+
experience preferred
Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding, as well as basic
accounting practices
