Ultrasound Tech Location: San Diego, CA Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $3,101 to $3,195 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description & Requirements Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono) StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $3101.00 - $3195.00 San Diego, CA area facility is seeking a sonographer for 6 month assignment. RDMS (OB) and (AB) registered, BLS from AHA, 8 D/E/N. will work variety of days, eves and nights 40hrs /week includes weekends; will be asked to float to other locations in San Diego. 1) Each Sonographer is assigned 13 exams per shift. We are a very fast paced facility. We have GE Logic 9 machines in all scan rooms. 2) We have 30 min for all studies, except for our OB & Doppler exams which are given 45 min. 3) Our OB exams are more consistent with a Perinatology scan consisting of outflow tracts, detailed extremity imaging, and detailed facial and brain imaging. 4) Our Traveler staff are being utilized on our days, eves, nights and weekend shifts. Some weeks may consistent of a combination of eves, days, night and weekend shifts, as needed. There is no call shifts. Days off may not always be consecutive but will take special requests. 5) Our exams consist of Ab ,Ab Doppler, Ab limited, Pelvic, OB, Mult Gestation, OB, Thyroid, Scrotal, Neonatal brain and spine, Aorta, Renal & Renal Doppler & Hernia evaluation. OB to include outflow tracts and fingers/toes.
