Job Description:

This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting modern, scalable software solutions using C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server. It includes contributing to new development efforts as well as enhancing and evolving existing systems, with an emphasis on performance, maintainability, and overall quality. The engineer also supports ongoing modernization efforts and helps strengthen engineering best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using C# and .NET Core • Build and optimize SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes • Develop and integrate APIs and backend services that support internal and external applications • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives • Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance expectations • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture • Contribute to documentation, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives • Support CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices using version control and automated testing • Additional job duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field • 3–5 years of professional software engineer experience • Strong hands on experience with C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server • Solid knowledge of object oriented programming, data structures, and design patterns • Experience building or consuming APIs • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem solving skills • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team • Ability to independently manage all aspects of the job role including required goals and business practices in a remote environment Travel Required: • Up to 10% Physical Requirements: • Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing. • Ability to see and read, write, and interpret written information. • Occasionally lift, move, and connect computer hardware and related equipment. • Ability to travel as required for business purposes. • Ability to handle and safeguard confidential information. • Ability to perform job duties in a professional environment suitable for virtual video meetings.
