We Offer: * Great work environment * Mentorship, training, and coaching * Excellent Opportunities for Career Growth * Health insurance, 401K, and paid time off * Company sponsored events and celebrations RESPONSIBILITIES: The Business Manager/Controller will contribute to the success of our dealerships by working directly with the CFO to ensure the dealerships are supplied with accurate, timely financial information in compliance with best practices.  This position will be responsible for Frank Toyota, Frank Hyundai, Frank Subaru, Frank Used Car Center and Mighty Auto Parts and will report directly to the CFO. The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: ·         Responsible for daily cash management function, including ensuring flooring payments are on a timely basis. ·         Ensures timely payment and filing for Sales Tax, Property Tax, Tire Tax and Battery Acid Tax. ·         Provides supervisory direction to Assistant Business Office Manager and office staff including: o    Ensuring timesheets are reviewed and approved each pay cycle. o    Assisting in hiring, training and disciplining office staff. o    Making day-to-day decisions as to all members of the Business Office. ·         Prepares the monthly financial statements and supplements within appropriate due dates according to the company's accounting guidelines and each manufacturer's format. ·         Ensures that all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, and co-op advertising are current and accurate. ·         Reviews the reconciliation of general ledger accounts with outside sources to ensure proper bank reconciliation, reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable. ·         Interprets the financial statements and the daily operating control (DOC) regularly and informs dealer of developing trends. ·         Supervises the preparation of all information for the outside CPA firm pertaining to the annual review. ·         Proposes solutions to issues found in documented findings. ·         Proposes processes for better utilization of DMS in preparation of reconciliations. ·         Designs effective reports around directives received from CFO and corporate needs. ·         Participates in the preparation of short- and long-term financial forecasts for the dealerships. ·         Provides department managers with detailed financial and management reports, as requested. ·         Oversees company-wide compliance for all franchises. ·         Evaluates company's current systems and develop strategies for improving overall compliance. ·         Ensures that all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records and analyses. ·         Backs up all positions in the office during vacation periods, illness or when the office is in a peak load situation. ·         May perform other duties as assigned by ownership, upper management and/or immediate supervisor. REQUIREMENTS: * Experience, Education, or Skills Required: o    Minimum 7-10 years' automotive industry experience including at least 3-5 years of Accounting related experience. o    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; and ability to work in team environment. o    Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. o    Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions. o    Strong written and oral communication skills.  Must have the ability to compose clear and concise correspondence regarding the relevant subject matter. o    Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. o    Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed. * Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting * CPA License is a plus * Reynolds and Reynolds experiencePandoLogic.
