Build your future with Volt Product QC Inspector Lead - Experience is requiredImmediate need to hire Volt Workforce Solutions is supporting a Manufacture in Carlsbad, CA. 1st shift, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, $19.50-20.50/hr, Long term, temp to hire opportunity!Send your updated detailed resume for immediate reviewAs a QC Inspector Lead you will:Lead the QC Team while ensuring in-process and final released products meet require specifications.Initiates and collaborates with the groups for Non-Conforming Material Reports.Trains QC inspectors on NCMR processing and product qualification (inspection and testing) procedures and interfaces with regulatory bodies, third party auditors and other auditors during external and internal audits.Assist QC management with employees during performance assessments and with time management. Ensures appropriate line clearance is performed at the start and end of each lot/batch.Administers the non-conforming material system through processing NCMR's physical segregation and labeling material, transacting in the operating sysand filing of associated quality records per ISO/Quality System Regulation (QSR) requirements.Ensures daily integrity and congruency of all quarantined material between physical, system and documented records.Performs record maintenance for Quality Department records, issuing reports/measures and improvement activities, implements and suggest process improvements.Review documents, such as batch records, drawings, procedures, work instructions, and forms to verify compliance with document and SOP policies. Long term employment opportunityThe ideal candidate will have:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 5 years experience in QC related activities in a medical device and/or high volume manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulations for the medical device industry.Ability to work independently and have deep understanding of the theory and the biology behind the application and the products.Extensive knowledge of QC systems and non-conforming material handling.MS Office including ERP system & Outlook.Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Excellent organized, communication, and critical thinking skills.Solid understanding of quality concepts including variation, process control and root cause analysis.Excellent documentation and communications skills.Pay range $19.50 to $20.50/hr*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
