Job Description:
A company is looking for a Metadata Specialist to manage and
maintain environmental data products.
Key Responsibilities
Document new or revised archive projects and provide weekly status
reports
Coordinate with stakeholders on archive implementation and support
data readiness reviews
Develop and maintain metadata for data granules and collection
records, ensuring adherence to standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a related field or equivalent
practical experience
2 to 4 years of experience in a related area
Knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON, and NetCDF
Experience working with metadata standards like ISO 19115
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Google
Docs
