Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter / Senior Underwriter
responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new
and renewal business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrites new and renewal business, evaluates risks, and
determines coverage terms and premiums
Maintains existing broker relationships and collaborates across
teams to provide quality service to clients
Stays informed about industry trends and adjusts underwriting
strategies accordingly
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial,
Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in E&S carrier Underwriting
Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus
line licenses
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) is a plus
