CEHE operates degree-granting career colleges throughout the western United States and online. The college brands include Stevens-Henager Colleges in Utah and Idaho; CollegeAmerica in Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming; California College San Diego, and Independence University (online platform). All of the colleges are accredited by ACCSC, a national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The colleges offer degree programs from the Associate's level through the Master's level in variety of disciplines including: Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Business/Accounting, Medical Specialties, Nursing, and Healthcare. CEHE is an at-will employer. High School Admissions Consultant THIS ROLE HAS CONSULTATIVE SALES RESPONSIBILITIES In support of this mission, the High School Admissions Consultant will accurately assess and educate prospective students on our college, and its requirements. The goal is to recommend students for acceptance, and enroll them into their chosen career field. High School Admissions Consultant (Campus) Essential Functions: - Build relationships with high school counselors, teachers and administrators and present workshops and maintain information regarding the meetings - Create strategic alliances with the high schools; articulation agreements, etc. - Cold calling teachers to schedule in class presentations to high school seniors - Meet daily, weekly, seasonal and annual metrics set with manager. - Conduct in-class workshops, college fairs, field trips, and table tops - Conduct counselor one-on-one and department information sessions - Administer OLSAT's (High School scholarship assessment) in counseling office as needed - Build and maintain school, counselor and teacher lists - Follow-up on all leads and questions using the follow-up process - Must follow the sales and presentation scripts at all times. - Ensure zero error rate in data gathering and entry - Complete and submit weekly activity reports, ensure all databases are current, and partner departments are notified of critical data - May perform other communicating, contacting and presenting seasonally - Must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for eight hours at a time per day. - Maintain honesty and professionalism - Provide outstanding service and assistance to all prospective students - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - No Job hoppers (must not have more than three jobs within the past five years) - Bachelor's Degree or applicable equivalent work experience - Sales and recruiting experience - Previous public speaking experience required - Positive attitude is a must - Strong work ethic - Strong presentation and communication skills - Effective negotiation and motivation techniques - Ability to be persuasive and influential - Results-oriented - Extensive local travel is required and reliable transportation is a must - MS Office and large database skills - Able to work early mornings, evenings, and some weekends Measures of Merit: - TBD by supervisor within 90 days of hire.
