Job Overview:
Continental Tide is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer
including recent graduates or students anticipating graduation
within the next six (6) months to support our Fleet Services Group.
The successful candidate will become part of our team responsible
for installation, troubleshooting, project execution and planning
of U.S. military shipboard electrical, network and automated
equipment and systems.

Required Experience:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for all facets of electrical equipment and systems
related to shipboard repair and installation initiatives.
Assist Senior Management, Program Managers and Project Leads with
both Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair or Fleet
Modernization projects.
Ensure projects and initiatives progress as scheduled and contract
specifications are adhered to.
Interface with clients and customers regarding tasking.
Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work
assignment.
Requirements:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Electrical
Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
Must have or have the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Must have the ability to obtain base access and security
credentials.
Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The
exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job,
but no less than 30 lbs.
Ability to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature
environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial
conditions and in confined spaces.
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United
States.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to manage and execute multiple assigned tasks.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Willingness and desire to identify, research and solve complex
problems beyond current capabilities.
