Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to
join our Product Development team. The successful candidate will
work closely with the Product Owner to provide analytical,
strategic, and operational support. This role is crucial in driving
our mission to develop innovative solutions and will involve
managing user communications, creating and prioritizing backlogs,
and improving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Owner to support stakeholder requirement
gathering, develop documentation and presentations, design and
develop mechanisms for collecting product usage statistics and
stakeholder feedback, etc.
- Support user acceptance testing and product requirement
validation.
- Enable and support users and stakeholders with product
documentation, training, access management, and intake process,
including running customer workshops.
- Support development and distribution of release notifications,
updates, etc.
- Partner with Product Owner and Scrum Master on business
readiness activities, including product planning, sequencing,
testing, user education, rollout, iteration, and support.
- Support Product Owner and Scrum Master to create, prioritize,
and manage the product backlog, incorporating user feedback and
business priorities.
- Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates
shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and
continuous learning.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, users,
and product teams to ensure alignment and understanding of product
requirements and business objectives.
- Coordinate and manage monthly calls with end users,
consolidating feedback and managing follow-ups.
- Apply continuous improvement approach to and assess how
automated systems, procedures, and workflows can be implemented to
improve existing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing
as an adaptive problem solver.
- Help manage and optimize processes and tracking mechanisms to
support product development.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving
problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing information and trends.
- Track and maintain program budget and forecasting tools to
support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information
Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA
is a plus.
- Proven experience in product management, product operations,
business analytics, or project management, preferably digital
product development
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and
Kanban.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and facilitating
user acceptance testing.
- Experience in managing product backlogs and prioritizing
according to business value.
- Prior experience in a role requiring collaboration across
multiple teams and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in Jira and Tableau a plus
- Basic understanding in coding, primarily VBA, SQL, and Python a
plus
- Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle and project
management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, self-starter that can work
independently, drive for results, and has strong time-management
skills.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability
to coordinate communication between various stakeholders and
teams.
- Ability to champion a collaborative work environment and
cultivate shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation,
and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and
software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare technical
reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and
trends.
- Knowledge of automated systems and workflows, with the ability
to assess and implement improvements for efficiency and
effectiveness.
- Ability to manage and optimize processes and tracking
mechanisms to support product development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and
manage multiple tasks simultaneously
