EV Charging Systems Sales Manager - Passenger Vehicle Market -Rhombus Energy Solutions (A BorgWarner Company) is a leader in the exciting market of electric vehicle charging systems as well as advanced applications for power conversion systems such as inverters and microgrids. Rhombus has developed and UL certified multiple bi-directional EV charging solutions that turn heavy duty EV's into energy storage assets for our customers and the utilities that serve them.In addition, our bi-directional charging stations, plus compatible EV's, can offer a resilient source of local "microgrid" power if the larger grid experiences interruptions. We are the industry leader in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies and proud to manufacture and certify all or our products in the USA. -Cars, trucks and buses produce nearly one-fifth of America's greenhouse-gas emissions (GHGs), all of which must be eliminated to achieve the federal target of net-zero emissions by 2050. In response, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) provides $7.5 billion to develop the country's EV-charging infrastructure. The goal is to install 500,000 public chargers-publicly accessible charging stations compatible with all vehicles and technologies-nationwide by 2030. However, even the addition of half a million public chargers could be far from enough. In a scenario in which half of all vehicles sold are zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) by 2030-in line with federal targets-we estimate that America would require over 1M EV public chargers to meet future EV demands. -BorgWarner acquired Rhombus Energy Solutions in August of 2022 with the goal of being the top EV charging manufacturing in the world.     • Thorough knowledge of the automotive electric vehicle infrastructure market including the OEM decision makers, key buying factors, market trends and competitive landscape.
    • Focus on developing DC Fast charging business across dealerships, automotive technical centers and headquarters, distribution centers and rental and fleet customers.
    • Serving as the single point of accountability for new account development, the automotive manager will focus on initiating customer relationships, influencing charging specifications, responding to request for quotations (RFQs) and delivering topline growth while maintaining business gross profit margins.
    • Responsible for opportunity creation and award of business supporting long term Rhombus strategic growth, diversification, and profitability goals.Minimum Qualifications:
      • Minimum five years selling experience within automotive OEMs.
      • Knowledge of electric vehicle charging products and services
      • Proven performance driving revenue growth
      • Collaborator and persuasive communication skills
      • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline (a master's degree or university program certificate is a plus). -First 30 days:
        • Work closely with the Head of EV Charging Systems Sales to get up to speed on current Rhombus products and services
        • Categorize and map North American automotive 5-year automotive programs including battery size, voltage and charging strategy.
        • Develop and present Rhombus go to market strategy for automotive OEMs towards DC Fast charging products and services. -By 90 days:
          • Become Rhombus go-to expert for all North American passenger car OEMs.
          • Execute on Q1 go to market strategy for automotive OEMs.
          • Influence, identify and respond to automotive OEM requests for quote (RFQ) or information (RFI) as related to DC Fast charging products and services.
          • Identify any product, software or service gaps to meet OEM key buying factors. -Location:
            • Dearborn, MI, -San Diego, CA -or Remote -Travel:
