Summary GEO is seeking a Field Technician to support operations at
our local remediation projects in Orange, CA. This role is ideal
for a mechanically minded environmental professional who thrives in
the field. Youll work hands-on with complex systems, conduct soil
sampling, and ensure the smooth operation of environmental

Responsibilities Provide on-site support for field operations in
Southern California. Collect and record system performance data,
PID readings, and site flow metrics. Conduct routine maintenance,
repairs, and inspections on remediation equipment. Investigate and
troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues, escalating as
needed. Collaborate with Project Managers and other field staff to
maintain daily system performance. Perform soil and vapor sampling
in accordance with project protocols; log and submit samples for
analysis. Operate light and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate project logs and update digital tracking tools.
Support the development of preventive maintenance plans. Comply
with all health, safety, and environmental procedures and
standards. Qualifications Required: 2 years of hands-on experience
in environmental, construction, or industrial field work Strong
problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to
follow protocols with attention to detail Basic proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Valid drivers license and
reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part
of a remote field team Preferred: 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
(current 8-hour refresher preferred) Familiarity with environmental
remediation equipment and techniques Technical coursework or
training in environmental science, geology, or a related field
Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in outdoor environments and navigating uneven
terrain Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions
